Job Description

Your New Job Title: Mandarin Speaking FX/MM TraderThe Skills Youll Need: MM/FX trading, liquidity management experience, Mandarin and English fluentYour New Salary: depending on experienceLocation: Central LondonWho Youll Be Working for: an international bankWhat Youll Be Doing Each Day:

  • To manage the liquidity profile to reduce the cost of funding
  • Ensure the best use of capital of the bank.
  • To alert management of the significant change in the market.
  • Actively collaborate with other intragroup branches and local market.
  • To maintain contact with Corporate counterparties to develop potential MM deposits
  • To monitor the LCR requirements and mitigate liquidity risk
  • To complete other assignments from the department head.
  • Internal daily deposit rates setting.
  • To ensure compliance with the internal Market Abuse Policy.
  • Marketing for New’ FI, NBI and Corporate clients.
  • Conduct EMTN issuance transactions: assisting in deal origination and execution.
  • Within the Three Lines of Defence framework, as a member of the Relevant team to act as the First Line of Defence with respect to the ownership and ongoing management of credit risk within the portfolio. This includes the preparation of all credit memoranda (proposals) inclusive of new money deals, annual reviews and credit modifications.
    • The Skills Youll Need to Succeed:
  • In-Depth knowledge of FX and MM, interest rate products.
  • Cash Flow analysis
  • In-depth knowledge of trading platforms (Refinitiv FX Trading, Eikon and Messenger, Bloomberg)
  • Ability to execute transactions with strong sales skills
  • High degree of professionalism, time management and organization skills.
  • Excellent business sense, ability to take initiative and enterprise.
  • Up to date knowledge of internal and external Regulatory requirements
  • Familiar with debt capital market and bond issuance process
  • Fluent in bilingual languages, including English and Mandarin.
