To see more Chinese jobs please follow us on WeChat: teamchinapf AND pfteamchinaRef: 21275Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking Finance Manager (Banking)The Skills Youll Need: Fluent Mandarin and English, solid Accounting experience in Banking / Finance industry in the UK Your New Salary: up to £70k (could be higher depending on experience) + bonusReport to: Head of FinanceLocation: Central LondonSummary:The Finance Manager or Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the Head of Finance with the management of the branchs accounting related works, tax related works and for the production and integrity of the branchs financial information and its regulatoryreporting or Head Office reporting in respect of its regulated activities.

  • Branch performance against Head Office objectives and KPI metrics relating to Finance Department.
  • Branch Performance against Internal & External Audits relating to Finance Department.
  • Branch adherence with Regulatory requirements related to Finance Department.
What Youll be Doing Each Day:
  • Financial Accounting - Expenses management review; Internal accounts management and review; Monthly/Quarterly/Annual financial reports review; General ledger maintenance and review;
  • Regulatory Reporting - Regulatory reporting to regulators, Taxation related works review;
  • System Maintenance and Development
  • Taxation - Preparation and submission of all returns required by HMRC (including corporation tax returns, VAT returns, AEOI returns etc).
  • Liaising with internal/external audit;
  • Assist in branch ALM, budget management;
  • The role may from time to time be required to undertake additional or other duties as necessary to meet the needs of the banks business/operation.
  • Operate with the highest level of ethics and conduct, and create a culture of good conduct at all levels of the branch.
The Skills Youll Need to Succeed:
  • Strong verbal and written skills in Mandarin and English.
  • Certified / Chartered Accountant
  • Graduated from a reputable university with minimum a degree in Finance / Accounting. Master degree holder preferred.
  • Solid working experience in UK based bank as a Finance Manager or senior accountant
  • Strong financial accounting skillset
  • Demonstrable experience in tax filing with HMRC and CBRC for UK based bank
  • Proactive attitude, great attention to details
  • Problem solver with ability to work independently as well as being a good team members in mentoring junior colleagues.
