A career in Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility, within internal firm services, will provide you with the opportunity to support the firm in delivering positive social and environmental impact with measurable, long lasting results. Youll focus on coordinating and overseeing the organisations, social impact and environmental stewardship activities as well as designing and implementing programmes to ensure the maintenance of a social licence to operate.The PwC UK Corporate Sustainability team are seeking a maternity cover to help manage and deliver our existing sustainability programmes related to employee awareness and behaviour change. These campaigns are intended to help us ensure our purpose - "to build trust in society and solve important problems" - is embedded in the business, whilst accelerating the transition to net zero. Campaigns include encouraging low carbon travel, enabling sustainable lifestyles, and integration of sustainability considerations throughout the firm.About the RoleThe role provides an excellent opportunity to learn from Corporate Sustainability experts and to work in a business that is recognised as a leader in both climate action and circular economy.The opportunity is available on a fixed contract basis, reporting primarily to the ESG Risk, Reporting and Engagement Lead, as well as the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) for some responsibilities. The role would be based in our London office at Charing Cross but home-based working is part of our Empowered Flexibility offering.Who we are looking forWere looking for someone with an excellent ability to lead and deliver change projects, experience of creating engaging communications campaigns, with an understanding of environmental issues and behaviour change.Specifically, your key tasks will include: Delivering ongoing firmwide sustainability engagement programmesRunning a new high profile internal campaign to engage staff in the run up to COP26Identifying potential opportunities for new ways to support the delivery of our sustainability goals and engage with our people on this topic Creating engaging comms for internal and external channels as appropriate (e.g. newsletters, webinars, social media messages, etc.)Managing and updating the various team platforms (e.g. external website, internal intranet pages and news feeds) as well as the Green Champions networkEvaluating the effectiveness and impact of our programmes and creating case studies to share in the marketplaceLine management for one other team memberIn addition, we envisage that youll work directly to support leaders in the Corporate Sustainability team, on an ad-hoc basis.
