Job Description

Were looking for a Manager, Structured Finance - Corporate Finance to join us in London.The successful candidate shall support the Global Corporate Finance team in its core objectives around structured finance, vendor financing, securitization and guarantees across the Group. This role will work within a high performing team responsible for complex structured finance products including, but not exclusive to, vendor financing, handset securitization, trade receivables and guarantees. You will focus on securing funding requirementsand the execution of originated deals, as well as the analysis of potential new opportunities. The role entails building strong relationships within Liberty Global, legal, accounting, financial planning, LSF, Tax, IR as well as externally with relationshipbanks and other third-party investors. What will you be doing

  • Contributing to group financial strategy to maintain EBITDA leverage and create value for our stakeholders through optimising funding costs and liquidity for the group
  • Work with LG Operating Entities and with other teams within Liberty Global to ensure successful maintenance, closing and reporting of transactions.
  • Close collaboration with other teams and workstreams within Treasury to gain a holistic view on the wider Group.
  • Build and maintain long term relationships with funding banks, investors and Operating Entities to ensure strategic oversight.
  • Help structure transactions to meet both risk/return profiles of investors and commercial interests of originators.
  • Ensure successful compliance with our global annual FCF guidance and maintain all key bank and investor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with board approved Treasury policies and procedures across all financing activities.
  • Support and mentor graduate members of the Treasury Team to help ensure wider objectives of the Treasury Team are met
  • Support with the preparation of monthly CFO meeting materials, weekly market updates to OpCo /JVs as well as board updates and ad hoc CEO meeting requests
We tend to look for people with:
  • Proven experience in one or more of: Investment Banking, Private Equity, Accountancy Firm, High Yield Corporate, Graduate Scheme)
  • Broad corporate finance, leveraged finance, capital markets, structured finance, legal and accounting knowledge
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ambitious and highly motivated with a positive everything is possible" attitude.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced international environment.
