Our team spends the majority of their time working on client sites across the UK - and sometimes in Europe. Your role Your role will be to advise on and deliver solutions to our clients cloud computing challenges leveraging your Google Cloud expertise. Your responsibilities will include the following: Should be able to define application architectures and align Google services and solutions to deliver the solution Experience in working as Google Cloud solution architect for client engagements spanning architecture, deployment and design Good understanding of Google Cloud DevOps process and deploying applications using Cloud Build and Cloud Source Repositories Experience in developing infrastructure reference architectures and tooling using Terraform/Deployment Manager Experience architecting solutions using Google Cloud Serverless technologies (Cloud Functions/Cloud Run) and/or containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) Leading stand up meetings Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Your professional experience Essential: Familiarity with Terraform/Deployment Manager for infrastructure automation Experience in selecting and integrating Google Cloud Big Data tools and frameworks Good knowledge of BigQuery and Google Cloud ETL offerings (Dataflow/Datafusion OR Dataproc) Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, engineering teams and product development teams Desirable: Google Cloud Associate/ Professional Architect certifications Experience in migrating HPC applications to Google Cloud Your service line: Consulting Our people and the way we work are the two things that set us apart in the consulting universe.
