Job Description

Management / Financial Accountant Required to join a Commodity Brokers on a 12-month FTC with the opportunity to become permanent.Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including analysis and commentary.
  • Complex multi-currency consolidations.
  • Cashflow reporting & forecasts.
  • Preparation and checking financial statements for reporting.
  • Analysis of performance (e.g. variance analysis vs. budget, written commentary)
  • Detailed analysis and reporting of other financial data and metrics (e.g. overhead cost analysis, CAPEX, working capital and return on capital, cash flow)
  • Experience of accounting for financial instruments (IAS39/, IFRS13) and consolidation accounting (IFRS10,11,12) (beneficial)
To be considered for this vacancy, you must have the following experience:
  • Part qualified or Qualified (CA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience within the Financial Services and/or Commodities industries would be beneficial
  • Workday OR other ERPs experience is highly beneficial.
  • Confident in the use of Excel for manipulating data, with advanced Excel skills (complex formulae: INDEX-MATCH, VLOOKUP, etc.)
