Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a real estate investment firm based in Central London to join a growing and dynamic finance function as an Management Accountant in the Real Estate Investment team.If you are looking to join a fast paced and growing organisation where everyone is driven to achieve that offers some exciting opportunities, then this is not a role to be missed.The company has a strong and diverse portfolio, and this role will be responsible for management accounting for a range of asset classes.This Management Accountant role would suit a newlyqualified Accountant with strong management accounting experience ideally from within a property or investment environment.Core Responsibilities:

  • Management reporting, budgeting and forecasting for multiple entities
  • Assist in the preparation of all aspects of management accounts for multiple entities
  • Forecasting, analysing and agreeing intra-group transactions for each entity
  • Dealing with VAT returns
  • Preparation of audit files and responding to auditor queries for numerous entities
Core Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
  • Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA ideally, CIMA will be considered for right skill set)
  • Strong academic background, minimum of 2.1 degree with strong A Level results
  • Ideally experience within the property or investment sector
  • Must be technically a good accountant (i.e., know your debits from your credits, balance sheet reconciliations, journals etc)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, organisational skills and must be highly numerate
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to manage a varied workload which can sometimes be under pressure
  • Must have a flexible mindset, with a willingness to learn and good problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of MRI Qube will be highly desirable
This Management Accountantrole will be joining a growing team and will report into the Group Financial Controller as well as working with various group stakeholders.
