Management Accountant - Hybrid Working

This is a permanent, full time role for a film and TV production space agency in the City of London. They currently have a small finance team of four people however due to recent movement, there will be opportunity for this role to take on more senior responsibilities associated with a FinancialController position.This company invests heavily in their staff and boasts a very impressive benefits package.DescriptionThe successful Management Accountant - Hybrid Working will be responsible for the following:

• Carry out all month end processes
• Take the lead on preparing monthly management packs with commentary
• Reconcile all major control Accounts (Bank, VAT etc)
• Help with credit control and supplier payments
• Ensure the validity and accuracy of core company data
• Work closely with other members of the team, including Account Managers who are our interface with clients
• Help to manage banking and cash flow
• Manage VAT & PAYE returns
• Take ownership of all reporting for a smaller subsidiary
• Help with group accounting

ProfileThe successful Management Accountant - Hybrid Working will possess the following:

• Previous experience in a role managing accounts
• The analytic ability to take raw financial data and understand and present the impact it will have on the company
• Thorough understanding of putting together management reporting packs
• Proficiency in software such as Spreadsheets / Account Packages / Reporting / Banking
• The ability to make good decisions quickly to enable us to develop fast as a business
• A solution-focused mindset
• Enthusiasm for solving problems
• Skill and creativity in mapping out and implementing new processes as the business develops
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Experience in communicating across multiple internal departments and with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally ie customers and suppliers
• A collaborative, supportive, team-oriented working approach
• The ability to see the bigger picture of what is best for the company
• The desire to make a difference and be a proactive part of building something unprecedented in an industry
• Part qualified in an accountancy qualification such as ACCA/ACA/CIMA
