Reporting to the Finance Manager, youll be responsible for the financial and management accounting of all aspects of revenue and gross marginfor our electricity arm of the Drax customers division.The role will provide you with the opportunity to own the production of monthly management accounts for your given business area, reporting on all aspects that relate to revenue and gross margin. Youll also be hands on in preparing and posting the requiredmonthly financial journals.Youll have the opportunity to link in with our wider Finance team and the work you produce will feed vital information into our FP&A team, supporting the work they complete on annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles. Youll also closely support the auditcycle for the finance team covering interim financial reviews, internal audits and year end external audits.Youll play a key part in ensuring that regular communications flow to non-finance stakeholders, ensuring that reporting is delivered with clarity and on a timely basis to inform key decision making.About YouA qualified accountant, youll have developed your skillset in a management accounting role, ideally within a PLC environment. Your experience to date will have given you exposure to various systems and knowledge of Oracle would be advantageous.Possessing a high level of self-motivation, youll be comfortable driving and managing your own workload to ensure that required deadlines are completed.
