Job Description

Are you considering a career move Altum Consulting are on the look out for talented Finalist Level or Newly Qualified Management Accountants to join a fantastic range of industry businesses in Central London covering Retail, FMCG, Tech, Fintech, Property,Media and Sport.If you have some of the following experience, get in touch!Month End Accounts

  • Preparation of the month end accounts for allocated markets including balance sheet review, group or single entity reconciliations and recharges.
  • Provide direct report supervision to Junior Accountants to review their work and incorporate into the accounts.
Analysis
  • Prepare and present a Cost Vs. Actuals report including a cost of sales or cost of services summary
  • Contribute to long term forecasts and budgetary planning for the business
  • Review data prepared by Junior Accountants as well as your own work to create clear analysis, risk identification and mitigation commentary
Reporting
  • Take an active involvement in the analysis required for monthly and quarterly board reports.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns, additional reporting for government statistics and other internal and external reporting and analysis as necessary e.g. Insurances, Stock and/or Patents
Team Support and Communication
  • Take a pro-active part in leading direct reports and adding value to collaborative team projects through clear written and verbal communication.
You must have...
  • Strong Academics, 2:1 or higher degree preferred
  • Be a part qualified or finalist ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Have at least 1 years experience in accounting and finance
  • Be passionate about joining a career driven company in the exciting and dynamic London Market
  • Have strong levels of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) skills
