Job Description

Robert Half is currently working with an independent management consultancy firm to recruit a Management Accountant for a 6-month interim assignment in the Central London office. This role will be covering during a period of transition and needs a candidatewith experience in the professional services sector.As the Management Accountant, you would be supporting with:

  • Management Accounts - Completing the management accounts for each entity (one UK and two US), including full consolidation of the income statement, cashflow, and balance sheet on a quarterly basis.
  • Manage all finance and tax processes for US entities - Full ownership of the income statement, balance sheet and cashflow, including the provision of regular management reporting and managing the quarterly tax calendar.
  • Payroll and benefits - Preparation and maintenance of the UK payroll, pension, GAYE, Childcare voucher and Cycle to Work schemes in conjunction with third party providers. This includes maintenance of files for approval by the Finance Director each monthand assisting with the setup of new staff on all relevant schemes (medical, pension, GAYE, CCV, CTW etc.).
  • Planning and project management - Responsible for systems review and implementation, including a full analysis of options available and time to implement. Maintenance of the KPI reporting tool, Power BI, and assisting the Finance Director with improvements.
Your ProfileThe ideal Management Accountant will have:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with minimum 2-3- post qualified experience
  • Experience using Sage 50
  • Must have experience in a consulting or other client-focussed professional services organisation (experience in time-based billing environment as a minimum)
