Our client is a fast-growing venture capitalist company which invests in start-up businesses.The company would like to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to look after the day-to-day finances of growing companies.Looking after a portfolio of 5 companies, your responsibilities will include:- Preparing monthly management accounts for each company (including accruals & prepayments)- Preparing / reviewing VAT returns- Payment runs for each company- Cash flow forecasting & budgeting- Assisting with funding applications- Managing a bookkeeperThe companies that you will be looking after operate in various sectors; which include: Fashion, Manufacturing and Media. You will have regular contact with the business owners and attend monthly board meetings with them to discuss financial performance.To be considered for this role, you must:- Be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or almost qualified)- Have a 4+ years accountancy experience- Have at least 2 years experience of preparing management accounts- Be a confident communicator- Have a good academic recordThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with ambitious entrepreneurs and help them grow their businesses.
