Job Description

Temporary Management AccountantCantello Tayler Recruitment are recruiting for a temporary Management Accountant to join their client based in LondonThe successful Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Playing a key part in month end close and reporting cycle, to all deadlines. Driver of timesheet cycle weekly/monthly and timesheet lead point of contact.
  • Managing day to day cash movement and monitoring financial aspects of interim contractor onboarding.
  • Production of month end accounts under direction of Financial Controller, to TB level.
  • Preparation of month end reconciliation information across balance sheet and profit and loss, plus external monthly reports to bank in accordance with deadlines.
  • Preparation of monthly payment cycle, including interim roll.
  • Preparation of monthly board pack information including full back up schedules.
  • Supporting on annual budget, to deadlines internal and external.
  • Financial analysis and planning as appropriate.
  • Assisting with VAT reporting cycle, including VAT compliance matters.
  • HMRC intermediary reporting.
  • Provision of information directly during external audit.
  • Additional day to day contact point with banks and external investors.
  • Ad hoc internal reporting and query resolution as required; proactive financial analysis and reporting.
The Management Accountant will have:
  • A high degree of initiative, accuracy and efficiency.
  • ACCA studier to part qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience of working within SME
  • Fast, accurate with excellent attention to detail; strong team player.
