Job Description

This newly created Management Accountant will form a key part of the Finance team for a rapidly growing Fintech Firm Paying £55,000 to 60,000 depending on experience and currently operating a 3 day a week in the office with a Discretionary bonus.Located right next to Liverpool Street RoleThis Management Accountant Role will help the Investment Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. Key responsibilities included.

  • Monthly reporting for the entities that are allocated to this role
  • Completion and overview of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Working with the business to understand the P&L fluctuations and providing commentary on variances
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Work closely with UK Finance team and provide cover for other team members
  • Work closely with external auditors for the annual audit and support the preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Support the budget process
  • Supervision of 2 junior staff members
  • Contribute to various projects, such as automation and improvement of current processes and reports
ProfileThe Management Accountant Role for this Fintech firm is ideally looking for.
  • A newly Qualified ACA from a top 30 Practice
  • Audited Financial services firms- ideally a Commodities business.

The Fintech are currently going through rapid growth and are looking to add a further 4 heads before the year is outSalary & BenefitsSalary is bench marked between £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
