Job Description

The Consultancy Group are currently partnered with a Market research company who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant based in central London.Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end journal entries, including payroll, prepayment, accruals, amortisation, and depreciation for multiple entities
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly group management account pack
  • Review UK and group accounts and provide variance analysis for both the UK entity and at a group level
  • Assist and review the journals and coding from AP and AR teams
  • Support and train the Finance Assistant on month end tasks
  • Assist with annual audit and statutory accounts preparation for the group, including leading on day-to-day queries from auditors
  • Support on monthly cash flow reporting
  • Adhoc reporting for the board and senior stakeholders
  • Review and implementation of processes and procedures
  • Work with Finance Assistant on monthly payroll payments
Main requirements:
  • Newly qualified Management accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Data Tables
  • Working knowledge of SAP Business One, Sharperlight, Procurify and/or Spendesk would be an advantage
The ideal candidate as Management Accountant, will have strong problem-solving skills as youll be faced with new challenges as the company continues to grow rapidly, excellent Excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to work across multiple entitieswhilst managing multiple deadlines. You will need to be passionate assisting with coaching and develop other members of the team.Location London
