Our client, a well-established talent management company, is seeking a highly capable touring Management Accountant. Experience with business partnering and an accountancy qualification are essential for this position.Key responsibilities will include:• Serving as a point of contact for Tour Managers in support of financial matters. • Working extensively with Bookers and Artist Managers regarding tour budgets, client projects, and forecasting. • Supporting senior financial colleagues with reporting and modelling for live entertainment activities.• Chairing weekly meetings that focus on bookings and imminent tours. • Managing the monitoring for ticket sales within the Press and Marketing division. • Covering client reporting and accounting activities: tour settlement oversight, training, monitoring, and reporting. • Serving as a contact for VAT settlement issues. • Handling Festival budgeting and reporting. • Preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliation for senior management review.• Monthly reconciliation of invoicing to booking system. • Overseeing invoicing process. • Monitoring debt collection. • Monitoring expenditure of company projects for internal Press and Marketing teams. • Collaborating with the Head of Live for annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts. • Conducting cashflow forecasting. • Serving as the main contact for Promotions annual audit. • Preparing quarterly VAT returns. • Line managing two direct reports.Requirements:• Qualified Accountant.• Previous experience with business partnering. • Line management of junior staff experience.• Experience working in the music/live touring industry is ideal.• Willing to initiate change and lead own workload. • Excellent communication skills. • Strong Microsoft Excel capabilities.• Highly organised.• Able to consistently meet tight deadlines.• Analytical and methodical approach to work. • Meticulous attention to detail.Please note that due to the volume of submissions, only successful candidates who meet the exact requirements will be contacted.
