Job Description

Our client is a multiple award-winning garden design and build company based in West London. Founded by two passionate Horticulturalists 7 years ago, the pair have worked together for more than two decades and as a company they seek to remain a close-knitteam that strives for excellence at every step. They are now looking for an experienced Landscape Team Leaderto work within the aftercare department.Job BriefReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of high end domestic gardens along with overseeing a team of skilled gardeners.Duties will include:

  • Planning and scheduling work
  • Following Health & Safety Guidelines
  • Mowing, hedge cutting and strimming
  • Planting, lifting, mulching, mowing, pruning, weeding, leaf clearing, sweeping etc.
  • Operating machinery, tools and equipment safely
Our client requires reliable, enthusiastic, positive and experienced individuals to maintain and exceed customers expectations. Youll have excellent customer service skills, be naturally capable of demonstrating your knowledge and have core skills in alltypes of garden maintenance.Key Skills Projects are predominately high-end private clients and as such the successful candidate will be friendly, well-mannered and presentable. You must have previous experience of managing teams and a good knowledge of working in gardens that require the needfor attention to detail. In the role you will be liaising with clients and designers, so a positive attitude, excellent customer service and communication skills are vital.
  • A recognised Horticultural qualification of minimum Level 2 is highly desirable but not essential if experience and competence is evident.
  • PA1 & PA6 spraying certificates are essential.
