Job Description

Do you have proven experience of maintenance gained in a specialist contracting role Are you looking for the next step in your career with a leading local maintenance provider If the answer is YES, this could be the ideal for you.A well-established maintenance company is looking to welcome a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in North London. This is a full-time position working alongside a team.What will I be responsible forJoining our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Pre-inspecting works required and preparing reports on PDA, specs and risk assessments
  • Post inspecting works carried out
  • Supervising operatives and providing technical and H&S advice and support
  • Carrying out joint inspections with the council representatives
  • Obtaining materials and non-standard items
  • Training new operatives
  • Carrying our toolbox talks and H&S inspections
  • Maintaining H&S records and taking necessary actions
    • Could this be the ideal role for meAs our ideal Maintenance Supervisor, you will have worked in a similar role previously, ideally for a specialist contractor. This role would suit those with an inquiring, problem solving mind and also for those that are task oriented. If you are an individual who can act on their own initiative and are self-motivated with a competitive drive to get tasks completed, this could be the ideal role for you. To succeed in this position, you will need the following skills and experience:
  • Computer literate
  • Experience in multi trades
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on their own and as a part of team
  • Good time management
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in social housing sector and SOR codes will be an asset
