We are currently recruiting a Multi Skilled (M&E) Maintenance Technician to join our prestigious high end commercial contract at Poplar, London, maintaining the landlord areas & plant.The Maintenance Engineer will be working Monday - Friday days with a call out currently 1 in 5. When on call out, you will be provided a company van to use for the week including commuting to and from your site location, therefore a Driving License is required.You will be required to provide an exceptional high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a residential occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service. You are not required to go into residents premises as we maintain Landlord services.The Multi Skilled Engineer will have experience of reviewing RAMs of sub-contractors and issuing permit to work (PTW), preferably working on single man sites in the past. You will have a background & qualifications in a Mechanical AND / OR Electrical discipline and have extensive experience working in a building service / maintenance environment.With this role, we provide an exciting training plan to all Engineers on the contract which includes: City and guilds electrical to mechanical conversion, OR mechanical to electrical conversion, (1 week); 3.5 day swimming pool technical operators course; LV AP training – Electrical bias staff; Mechanical AP training – Mechanical bias staff; IOSH working safely; Water hygiene awareness; Working at height (3-day).Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:- Deliver PPM relating primarily to Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Plant and System’s in-line with agreed programmes / SLAs in order to meet Client and Statutory Compliance.- Costing and completing Reactive Works identified through PPM work undertaken when requested.- Provide Service Support as part of a team providing quality service delivery 24/7, with a requirement to be part of the out of hour’s emergency call out team currently 1 in 5.- To maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard.- To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date as this will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.- Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required.Maintenance Engineer Requirements:- Worked on various manufacturers systems, skilled in a Mechanical & / or Electrical Discipline carrying out PPMs in line with SFG20 or equivalent, with advanced fault-finding diagnostic experience.- Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Technician.- Ideally all candidates would have completed a Mechanical OR Electrical apprenticeship.- Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs with minimal supervision.- CHP / Biomass & Air Conditioning experience an advantage.- IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable).- Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc. (Desirable).- L8 Training (Desirable).- UK Driving License.About NG Bailey:We are one of the leading independent engineering and services businesses in the UK.
