Job Description

A Global Investment Bank are currently looking for a Macro Flow Rates Sales Analyst to join their team in the City of London, this is a permanent role with a salary range of £55,000 to £75,000 plus an excellent benefits package.SummaryMacro sales analyst role working within rates franchise to support the desk in achieving target budget. An individual with a strong interest in financial markets, self-starter who takes pride in improving processes, developing relationships and focused on delivering our rates trading capabilities.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support the rates sales team: written commentary, content generation, trade execution/processing, revenue reporting, periodic trade analysis
  • Model client trades to assess bilateral risk exposures using internal systems
  • Working on internal tools/process enhancement
  • Monitor markets and formulate trade ideas. Perform analyses on fundamental and technical data
  • Attend client meetings and calls with traders, salespeople and research colleagues
  • Work with the wider trading team to design and implement long term trading strategies and grow the banks institutional client presence
    • Systems
  • Excel, Outlook, VBA, Bloomberg, GCE, Omega, TradeWeb, MTS, Orchestrade
    • Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure the candidate is fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excel VBA is a strong plus
    • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSQualifications/Education Required:Degree, preferably in a Mathematical / Scientific areaDesirable:Previous internships within sales & trading divisions of financial markets.Competencies RequiredTeam orientedAbility to multitask with strong attention to detailsExcellent communication skills and able to coordinate effectively with managersAbility to think quickly, make decisions using good judgement and prioritise in busy trading situationsSkills & Knowledge RequirementsData analysis / Excel VBA / Sales skillsAny other relevant informationCreativity when it comes to problem solving.
