Job Description

Grow your project and portfolio management experience in Macquarie Capitals Infrastructure & Energy Group. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure into the renewable energy and asset investment space. As an Executive you will be working jointly with the asset manager and directors managing Infrastructure and Energy principal investments and portfolio as well as third party assets. You will be providing financial model analysis and interacting directly with project team, advisers, lenders and investors. For this you will be responsible for keeping the projects operational financial models updated and ensuring they reflect the latest technical, commercial and macro economical changes that have occurred or expected to occur on the investment. This is a key role within the ongoing management of investments as it provided critical information needed to support the decision making of the board of directors of the project companies. As a part of our team you will also have the ability to get involved in the general management of the assets and the portfolio. To be successful in this role, you will have at least 2-3 years experience gained in an investment management / investment banking/project finance environment or an advisory firm working with financial services clients. You will need to demonstrate strong modelling experience, skills and the ability to build project finance infrastructure models from scratch. Ideally you will have some experience or an interest to learn about the renewable energy industry. You will also be able to demonstrate strong skills in relationship management, providing risk analysis, and financial reporting.
