M&E Quantity Surveyor - Leading M&E Contractor - London EC2Company Overview:My Client is a leading M&E Contractor established over 50yrs ago.They work across a variety of residential & commercial fit out projects in Central London.M&E Quantity Surveyor - Leading M&E Contractor London EC2They are seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their offices in the City of London EC2This is an excellent opportunity for an M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established company and progress your career. This job is a great opportunityto join a business that is constantly moving forward and pushing new technology with their work.The right candidate will take ownership of the commercial elements of the project, including project spend, cash flow, and valuations and have extensive understanding of building services within construction, including mechanical, pipework, HVAC, and electricalcontrol & instrumentation.M&E Quantity Surveyor - Leading M& E Contractor - London EC2Duties:

  • Undertaking Materials Take Offs and pricing from drawings
  • Providing accurate and well substantiated valuations
  • Providing accurate and detailed commercial reporting
  • Hands on management of project income, expenditure, and cash flow, including identifying cost overspends, delays in client payments or reductions in client valuations
  • Undertaking and substantiating detailed site valuations with clients
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills Experience required:
  • Proficient in contract administration using NEC and JCT contract forms
  • Track record of delivering project profitability and budget management
  • Track record of delivering on project commercial activities including cost tracking and control, forecasting, valuation etc
  • Extensive experience of managing subcontractors, from allocation of work, through meeting programme deadlines, to final account
  • Track record of managing risk and ensuring safe and successful project delivery
  • Collating and analysing M&E tenders
