Since we were established in 1992, we have been at the forefront of the European cartridge remanufacturing industry and are recognised as one the foremosttechnical innovators in the industry.We specialise in the supply of high quality private-label cartridges for leading UK and European high street, mail order and web-based channels as well as major office supplies resellers. The independent trade magazine, The Recycler, named us as the numberone recycler of inkjet cartridges in the world!The factory, collections processing centre, distribution centre and head office are based in Park Royal, North West London. The groups sales currently exceed £30 million and we employ some 200 staff with operations covering the UK, France, Germany, Holland,Portugal and Spain.Key Responsibilities:This role supports Management to complete day to day logistics & distribution admin and warehouse tasks for the smooth running of the supply chain. Youll champion our standards and values to ensure client satisfaction is to a high standard by working inan efficient and effective manner using your own initiative and supporting colleagues to work as part of the team in a welcoming environment. Theres a lot to learn so will suit someone who is eager for details and organised.Key Skills and Abilities Required:+ Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Windows especially Excel (Intermediate level)+ Experience of computerised stock control/ERP systems, preferably SAP B1+ Experience in a similar Logistics/Distribution role+ Proven at delivering logistics Admin tasks to tight deadlines, under pressure+ Working knowledge of customs regulations and ISO requirements+ Understanding of customs procedures and documentation+ Experience with international shipments and accompanying paperwork such as customs declarations, EAD (Export Accompanying Document), commercial invoices etc.+ Good knowledge of shipping Incoterms+ Ability to review current procedures and recommend improvements+ Maintain overall stock & pick location accuracy across warehouse, physically & systemically+ Good understanding of QC measures and procedures+ Understanding of supply chain and internal workings+ Good Customer service skills+ Knowledge of H&S and environmental requirements in a manufacturing context+ Proactive, use own initiative, with strong organisational and team skillsAttributes:+ Excellent fluent English with professional level communications skills - verbal and written (constructing emails to customers; making external phone calls; discussing and negotiating options; navigating systems quickly and accurately etc)+ Good telephone manner - clear audible English+ Numerate and computer literate with good written business English+ Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively and work under pressure+ Strong problem-solving skills+ Numerate and computer literate with ability to interpret and manipulate data and spreadsheets+ Able to implement, follow, monitor and report on procedure+ Forklift Licence would be an advantage+ Knowledgeable and trained in Manual Handling+ Thorough and detailed.
