The Information Architect will • Engage users to identify requirements and issues, and work closely with engineering teams to define optimal solutions • Act as a liaison between IT and Corporate Banking Business and Operations units; Gather and interpret information from multiple sources (including databases, interviews, etc.) and make recommendations and work with the Business stakeholders to analyze and create detailed business requirements documenting business processes and rules, workflows, system diagrams, non-functional requirements such as data, performance, security etc.; Translate technical concepts to business audience and business information to a technical audience • Conduct requirements gathering sessions and design reviews and Participate in developing estimates and implementation plans for technical solutions • Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the business, develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements/specifications to IT team, and contribute a business or process perspective during design reviews • Works with User Experience / Design resources to help visualize requirements into prototype • Validates test cases to ensure that scripts will evaluate the business function being performed Qualifications • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the loan lifecycle, end-to-end loan process and Finastra Loan IQ: Batch Execution Framework, Loan IQ XML/FpML API interfaces etc. • Deep understanding and ability to apply principles in risk management, issue tracking, Agile/SDLC and change management. • Expertise in Loan IQ APIs • Expertise in underlying Loan IQ data model, components and table maintenance • A sound knowledge of loan transactions and processing, including P/L events and fees • Knowledge of Securities based Lending products, including Non-Purpose Lending • Experience of Event Manager configuration and setup • Knowledge of Loan IQ GL accounting • Experience of working with data feeds and interfaces from Loan IQ • Working knowledge of DB2 on Linux, Linux/Windows, MQ Series and good SQL skills • Ability to troubleshoot / follow a methodical approach to problem resolution • Interpersonal skills + good verbal & written skills required to interact with global teams • Strong analytical and organizational skills
