Venn Group are currently recruiting for aFacility Agent for a global bank based in London. This role will act as primary contact for and perform agent functions on a portfolio of syndicated loan transactions. The agency group currently have a portfolioof approximately 300 loan facilities allocated across three teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong Loans Agency background with prior experience working as a facility agent and security trustee.This role requires a strong understanding of general banking practices including loan administration, payments, treasury funding, static data control, document management and safe keeping. Good knowledge of legal and compliance documentation, strong competenciesin primary syndication and secondary trading processes. And in-death understanding of finance documents including facility agreements, security trust & intercreditor agreements, common term agreements & account bank agreements.Strong numeracy and interpersonal skills are a feature to assist in the designing and drafting of various finance documents and internal procedures & controls on a portfolio of deals covering a range of sectors. This process may be ad hoc, so will requirean individual who is experienced handling a range of complex and administrative tasks at any one time.Depending on the type of agency role this can include, facilitating communications, managing cash flows, maintaining a register of parties to the agreement, maintaining a register of lender commitments, deal activity and accruals (interest & fees), registeringand safekeeping of security, coordinating amendment and waiver requests, and following procedures described in the facility documents in respect to borrower default and enforcement of security.Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this role as the candidate will be expected to maintain good relationships both internally and externally ensuring the highest levels of professionalism and service.
