As a Barclays Funding and Liquidity Risk Manager you will be responsible for providing advice to businesses on the liquidity risk of individual transactions, reviewing and challenging new products from a liquidity risk point of view, and approving/ rejectingtransactions that could lead to liquidity risk being taken by the firm which is outside of risk appetite. The team operates in a "pyramid" structure, headed by a Director who manages multiple sub-teams, with each sub-team run by a Senior Manager. What will you be doing Owning, monitoring, and providing expert coverage of designated liquidity risk driver models and stress scenarios Independently driving forward projects to improve Barclays liquidity risk framework Reviewing and evaluating risk monitoring and measurement techniques Leading project deliverables independently and within designated timeframes Evaluating the Treasury and Capital Risk (TCR) control landscape, developing and proposing new control processes where necessary Assisting in the development of firms data infrastructure and analytical processes What were looking for: Good understanding of liquidity risk and risk management Excellent analytical and presentation skills Good interpersonal and communication skills, including stakeholder management Existing product knowledge expertise Skills that will help you in the role: Previous work experience and knowledge of liquidity risk, balance sheet management, funding and liquidity in either a first or second line capacity Previous work experience on stress testing, limits setting and management Good quantitative background with Excel proficiency Where will you be workingIn the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
