We have a fantastic opportunity for a Librarian to join our team, where you will be a proactive member of the Library management team and share the responsibility of meeting the resource and digital learning needs of students and staff at all campuses.As a Librarian, your role will involve;Supporting teaching and learning by procuring and promoting resources in a range of formatsDeveloping and maintaining professional partnerships with curriculum staff at all levels, to encourage use of Library services and resources appropriate to their curriculum areaDeveloping and promoting access to resources both in the Library and through a strong online and social media presenceLine managing and supporting a small team of Library Assistants Developing and delivering appropriate inductions and information skills sessions for individuals and groups, both face-to-face and online.Our College Libraries also help to make digital learning accessible. Students are supported to use a range of devices to access electronic resources, media and learning systems for research, learning and assessment. We are looking for someone who is confident in the use of technology for learning and understands the needs of students working in a digital environment.
