This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks. As a Barclays Vice President within our Leveraged Finance business you will be part of a team which originates, structures and underwrites large cap sub-investment grade debt that is syndicated to institutional investors. We cover both loans and bonds and our clients include all large cap private equity firms, as well as large to medium size corporates. You will be working closely with our coverage bankers across sector, sponsor and country, as well as capital market syndicate team. What will you be doing • Coordinating internal credit approval processes and preparing relevant transaction summary papers • Undertaking credit analysis of transactions and financial modelling, and presenting findings of such analysis internally • Using your sector understanding and financial skills to undertake research and analysis of companies across multiple sectors • Preparing presentations for client meetings, marketing presentations, Information Memoranda and other transaction documentation • Providing day-to-day project management support to senior team members and product partners • Providing training and mentoring to analysts in the team What were looking for: • Proven experience in business planning, preparing presentations, executing due diligence and managing documentation and deal transaction processes • Thorough financial analysis experience gained at a top tier investment bank • Proven Leveraged Finance experience • Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills Skills that will help you in the role: • The ability to communicate fluently in another European language • Sufficient knowledge of compliance, key applicable laws, rules and regulation Where will you be working 5 North Colonnade is home to our investment bank and is in the heart of Canary Wharf, just a short walk from our headquarters at Churchill Place.
