Job Description

Level 2 IT Field Engineer, MSPIf you are a skilled Engineer who can work across different locations in London and beyond, we want you to join our Technical Services Team. We have a growing number of clients who need our expertise and support. We value continuous learning, creativityand innovation, and we believe that our team is our greatest asset.About the role:You will be an expert in installing and maintaining Network, WIFI and Microsoft Cloud solutions (365, Azure etc) including IT systems such as on-premise Virtual servers, desktops, and Hosted infrastructure.You will possess excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and be comfortable leading on elements of project implementation from a technical perspective.You will be regarded as the second support specialist for several of our clients and as such we are keen to identify someone who builds relationships easily and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service all the time.Experience:

  • Previous experience within a similar field-based role
  • Have a versatile approach to new technologies and be able to demonstrate learning capabilities
  • Previous experience of client site visits performing a variety of Proactive Maintenance task
  • Ability to confidently to install, commissioning and maintaining a range of IT infrastructure systems to include on-premise Servers, End point security, Firewalls, Wifi alongside a security stack of products
  • A solid knowledge of IP, networking, and IT infrastructure, with key focus around Ubiquiti networking
  • Ability to run, patch and terminate cabling to support installation of new hardware
  • Ability to provide training to end users for systems being installed and managed
  • Administration and troubleshooting of O/S and Apps consisting of Microsoft Windows Server, Desktop OS, Microsoft Cloud Technologies, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy, SharePoint, Remote Desktops, DHCP, DNS etc
  • Exposure to support systems covered by client contracts
  • Experience in remote diagnostics including analysis and monitoring
  • Experience managing BDR environments, both cloud and on-premise using Datto & Veeam
Additional Technical Experience which would be of benefit:
  • Proven knowledge and ability to work on issues relating to Networking, WIFI, and Desktop systems etc
  • Server infrastructure consisting of Windows HyperV and VMWare.
  • Network architecture and system management, including configuring devices consisting of routers, firewalls, and Switches (L1 & L2)
  • Security process & procedures, which promote best practice security while maintaining a functional user base
  • Proven knowledge of a variety of IT & security infrastructure platforms
