Lettings Administrator / Property ManagerClose to Highams Park station E4Very well established business providing short and long term lets to families, the homeless and those needing emergency accommodation on behalf of 30 Boroughs, mostly London but across S East.Team of 5 long term colleagues; but over 30 in the companyWe are looking for someone with exp. of a busy residential lettings desk who wants to move to the Social Housing side of the professionan. This is really important work - youll be making a massive impact on people lives. A job...more of a vocation.Crazy busy, taking 50 to 100 calls a day you MUST have a very thick skin! Youll be sworn at and called all sorts of horrid names. These people may be drunk, on drugs or recently discharged from hospital or prison. They are almost all vulnerable and so weneed staff with empathy and a caring attitude.You engage with existing tenants, landlords, local authorities as well as contractors re plumbing, electrical works, decoration etc. Youll have to deal with the police and ambulance services too.Lots of accurate data entry & emails.Use of ACT CRM systemThe ability to establish the problems with a property such as roofing leaks, plumbing, electrical issues and to be able to relay to colleagues, landlords and sub contractors is vital. So, sorry- no trainees; only exp. lettings admins.Deal with voids and re-lets.This is not a job for those who cant handle pressure -its full on.We need good written and spoken English and strong maths too.Parking is FREE within 7 minutes level walk.Hours are 9 to 6...but you are required at your desk by 9am ready for action; so 8-50 arrival is ideal.Contact Graham
