Job Description

You will report into the Banks COO with delivery of the departmental strategic plan, taking specific responsibility for implementation of lending-related change activities.The role will enable and empower Managers department to deliver products and services in a compliant and customer-centric manner.Drive and manage implementation of strategic initiatives (primarily those that are lending-related) for Managers department, including appropriate stakeholder management.Act as lead on Lending Programme projects to ensure delivery meets departmental needs as relates to design (encompassing control, user experience, efficiency, and scope) and implementation.Act as lead on the project lending to document and improve lending processes and procedures across the department, including design and implementation of controls where weakness or gaps are identified.Act as lending subject matter expert to support projects and BAU activities.Feed into the departments Risk Control Self-Assessment, ensuring new lending risks or control deficiencies and remedial actions are highlighted to the Managers Risk Committee.Communicate operational enhancements and, where necessary, oversee training to the Managers department.Manage, monitor, and deliver solutions for lending-related Compliance and Internal Audit reports and action points.To apply you must have ALevels and ideally CeMAP, extensive financial services experience in control and change.Experience of process and control design and implementation, producing clear report summaries, making recommendations, and drawing up detailed action plans with clear accountability.
