Legal Secretary - Employment Law - c£35,000 working remotelyOur client is an award-winning, growing mid-sized law firm with a fantastic atmosphere and team feel. They are looking for a new legal secretary to join their dynamic employment team due to the growth and busyness of the department. Initially this will be on a 6 month fixed term contract. They want someone able to start working remotely immediately, and they are happy for them to stay remote working for the whole contract if they wish. If you would prefer to work out of the office some or all the time (once safe and appropriate to do so), that is fine by them too!The work is a fascinating mixture of contentious and non-contentious employment on behalf of both private individuals and companies, and they are looking for someone who is able to juggle and adapt to a busy, reactive role. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in litigation gained at a reputable City law firm. Some knowledge of employment law would be great, but not essential. This is a busy role support around 8 fee earners who are also all working remotely, so it is vitally important that you’re able to juggle busy and varied workloads, are familiar with looking after your fee earners’ billing, diary etc. The one thing that is essential though is that you’ve had experience working remotely as a legal secretary. So, if you have been working remotely for your firm since the first lockdown but recently been let go, this could be perfect for you!For more information or to be considered please contact John Bruce ASAP.
