Job Description

By combining cutting-edge technology, skilled resources and innovative practices, Condor is able to deliverecient and cost-effective solutions, whilst benefiting from the knowledge and quality assurance of leading law rm partners.What will the role involve...We are looking for a Legal Project Manager to manage and improve Condors Legal Project Management (LPM) capabilities, working closely with the firms lawyers and all other key stakeholders. The Legal Project Manager will provide project management acrossimportant client facing matters, through project oversight, project tracking and project reviews, to help the organisation deliver tightly controlled projects in an efficient and cost effective manner. Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Work collaboratively across the firm to assist with scoping, phasing and planning projects
  • Identifying and communicating with all stakeholders
  • Using existing project management tools to track and report on project progress
  • Managing risk by communicating scope creep and risk, tracking and managing agreed changes, providing timely updates for any potential issues identified
  • Communicating all updates to project plans and all amendments to all stakeholders
  • On conclusion of a project to carry out a post-project review to facilitate learning for future projects
  • Increase engagement with fee earners across the firm to help them better understand the key benefits of LPM
  • To develop functional and flexible LPM processes and methods into a suite of tools for Condor to use across all engagements
  • General ad-hoc support and collaboration with others on a day-to-day basis will also be required, helping others to identify possible efficiencies to software and systems
  • Assistance with internally focused business development, helping the team to sell legal project management services more broadly across the practice, and across other European offices
Some Key Skills
  • Project management experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm
  • Experience of leading and managing a portfolio of projects
  • Degree level qualification; desirable to have project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2)
