Enjoying continuedgrowth through service and market development, the business has established a specialist division to deliver a range of project management, pricing and automated solutions to large corporate clients. As a result, the firm currently seeks a Legal OperationsAnalyst to provide project management support to the Finance and Real Estate Practise Group. Your brief includes:Key Responsibilities of the Legal Operations Analyst

  • Creating, maintaining and analysing financial reports with a view to reporting internally and externally on progress against budget and/or analysis of profitability on fixed fee matters
  • Working with the Revenue team to ensure that billing and costing of matters is accurate and timely
  • Setting up and maintaining matter plans to ensure that cost data is captured accurately and client reporting requirements can be met efficiently
  • Supporting lawyers in the set up of matter plans to an agreed framework and administration of matter financials, including ensuring that third party invoices are collated and submitted in a timely matter; flagging localised budget overruns; and closingof files
  • Support the legal project manager in the delivery of structured LPM on large, complex or multi-jurisdictional projects and transactions
  • Supporting process improvement initiatives, documenting process maps and capturing and cataloguing new ways of working
Skills & Attributes of the Legal Operations Analyst
  • Analyst or Project Management experience from a Professional services or law firm
  • Good interpersonal skills, the ability to develop robust relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Hands on exposure to Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
