Job Description

Legal Discovery Product Specialist - Legal AI Technology£27,000-£35,000 basic salary + £4,000 quarterly bonusAI Legal Technology, Global OrganisationCentral LondonAn excellent opportunity to work at the most exciting and prestigious Legal AI Technology company in London (and Globally). This market-leading, innovative organisation with ground-breaking technology, the first true application of machine learning to the legal industry, operating in over 50 countries worldwide are looking for exceptional people to join them.The Discovery Product Specialists have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Discovery product the company offers as well as a thorough knowledge of eDiscovery processes and technologies in general, in order to provide customers with tailored technical and workflow support at any stage of their projects. They take an active role in developing the Discovery business through customer usage and satisfaction.Main roles and responsibilities include:

  • Acting as Project Manager and technical point of liaison between the customer, their Account Manager and our clients technical support team
  • Understanding the individual use cases and needs of each customer by delivering training and workflow advice, and offering ongoing support to customer accounts
  • Taking a proactive role in supporting accounts and pitching for new projects
  • Providing initial and ongoing training for new and existing clients and/or projects, addressing workflow queries on an ongoing basis
  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers on new projects, proactively planning for uploads with a comprehensive knowledge of the appropriate upload options and methods
  • Liaising with the technical support team to highlight significant new projects to help to understand and anticipate sizing requirements
  • Basic troubleshooting for non-technical queries, escalating to the technical support team where required
  • An in-depth understanding of Discovery processes and best practices to provide advice on workflow, including loadfile imports/exports, and concepts such as email threading and deduplication
  • Providing feedback and technical reporting on accounts to management
  • Requirements:
  • A degree (a 2:1 or equivalent in any subject) from a Russell group or equivalent university
  • Competency in IT and technology
  • Knowledge of the eDiscovery industry and best practices, ideally with prior experience in eDiscovery or TAR for investigations/litigation
  • In-depth understanding on technical and workflow aspects of eDiscovery including types of data, data transfer options, data processing options, TAR, productions etc.
