LEGAL COUNSEL - CONTENT LEADING MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT ORGANISATION 4-5 MTH FTC - START ASAP FULL TIME OR 4 DAY WEEK HYBRID WORKING Our client is one of the leading media and entertainment brands across Europe and a truly exciting and inclusive place towork. We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Acquired Content team supporting the entertainment business, providing commercial advice on deals for movies and entertainment programming. This role will require you to act as a legal partner to the commercialand business affairs content teams whilst being supported by senior members of the legal team to advise on and carry out commercial negotiations and review commercial considerations and draft and negotiate all contracts relating to the acquisition of moviesand entertainment programming, primarily from the US Hollywood studios. As part of the Acquired Content team, you will be involved in some of the business most strategic and important business priorities and decisions. We are looking for a lawyer with somecommercial contract experience ideally in the media industry either from private practice or equivalent in-house. You will have excellent negotiation, drafting and interpersonal skills and a passion for film and TV. Some legal experience in rights acquisitionand licensing work in the television industry is desirable but not essential. When you join the team you will also be part of a wider large legal community which has top talent in the market and fantastic support systems in place. Our client will considercandidates on a full-time or 4 day week basis, with hybrid working available.
