We have two openings for legal counsel; one of the positions has a focus on commercial contracts (data law) and the other commercial and employment law.Who will you be working forOur Client is a highly established educational organisation.Our Client has flexibility for possibility to work from home full-time for the right applicant in the instance they are not London based otherwise, the position will include in office working 2 days per week in London.What will you be doingAs Legal Counsel you will have provide legal advice within a commercially focused position. Including focus on either:* Commercial contracts, commercial and employment with a focus on apprenticeships and IT contracts); experience within employment law would be highly desired.* Commercial contracts, data law focusing on corporate structuring and governance, regulatory compliance, consumer law matters, data protection and marketing.You will also manage work from the legal inbox covering a wide range of topics and provide legal advice to the business and assist junior members of the team when necessary.About you:* You will be a qualified solicitor NQ to 2 years PQE.* Experience advising on commercial contracts.* Have exceptional drafting, negotiation a, problem solving, communication and client management skills.* Be comfortable answering and responding to a wide range of queries.* An ability to manage clients and your own workload.* Demonstrate a keen interest in working in-house - previous experience in-house desired.Whats in it for youThis is a great opportunity to work in a nice and supportive working environment covering a varied workload with no need for overtime.The Legal Counsel positions are permanent, the working hours Monday-Friday are 9am-5.30pm and offer a salary of £50,000pa-£60,000pa (dependent on experience).
