A City based Insurance Group seeks a person with a degree, an interest in working in Company Secretariat, in a varied role. The company seeks a bright person, with good communication skills, 3-12 months office/legal experience, ideally awareness of a financial services business, ideally a Lloyds or FCA/ PRA regulated insurance business is desirable, though not required.To provide assistance to the Company Secretarial team in the delivery of high quality, professional company secretarial and corporate governance services to the business; and to ensure a smooth operation of the Group and clients boards and committee meetings. Working with the Company Secretarial team to schedule meetings, manage the Co Sec calendar, and issue reminders for meeting papers to be submitted to the team. Assist with the initial preparation of template agendas and maintain meeting attendance records. Assist with requesting and following up meeting papers and creating meeting packs. Assist with updating the library of appropriate policies and procedures to achieve compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements and monitor adherence to the procedures.
