Job Description

Totum Partners are delighted to be working with a boutique law firm to recruit an Legal Cashier for their finance team. Our client is currently operating a hybrid pattern of two days per week working from home. Study support is available for the right candidate.The ideal Legal Cashier will be responsible for the following:

  • Processing payments (Chaps, Faster, BACS, International)
  • Processing transactions
  • Dealing with the daily client bank reconciliation
  • Posting of disbursements, anticipated disbursements
  • Processing bills
  • Review client ledger balances and identify discrepancies
  • Helping to clear ledger balances and archive matters
  • Dealing with fee earners and support staff regarding accounts queries
  • Helping accounts manager when required
The ideal Legal Cashierwill have:
  • Experience working in a law firm or legal services - essential
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication
  • Knowledge of Solicitor Accounts rules beneficial
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Must be experienced in multi-tasking and managing time sensitive
