LEGAL & BUSINESS AFFAIRS EXECUTIVECREATIVE/TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANCYNQ-2YRS PQEPERMANENTTHE ORGANISATIONA fast-growth and industry disruptive firm with offices in Central London and Los Angeles is offering an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to join them as a Legal & Business Affairs Executive. The firm offers strategic support to start-ups, scale-upsand SMEs to ensure its clients, which are predominantly in the tech and creative sectors, are investible and scalable.THE ROLEAs a Legal & Business Affairs Executive, you will be involved in:

  • Drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreements including NDAs, terms and conditions and vendor agreements
  • Supporting in the drafting, negotiating and reviewing of employment law contracts, handbooks and policies
  • Drafting, reviewing and revising intellectual property protection licenses
  • Working closely with businesses/clients in identifying compliance, legal and business risks and offering solutions to mitigate them
  • Corporate governance best practices such as drafting board and shareholder resolutions
  • General Data Protection Regulation, Data Protection Act 2018 matters
  • Developing training materials and providing training to our clients on relevant legal topics and best practices
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT In order to be successful in this role you will ideally:
  • Have relevant experience working within a legal department or within private practice
  • Have solid contract review/drafting experience ideally for a technology or media company
  • Be an excellent communicator (both orally and written) and able to forge effective working relationships
  • Have a strong entrepreneurial, analytical and solutions focused approach to solving legal, business and operational issues
  • Be able to balance and prioritise a varied workload and client base within a fast-paced environment
  • Have a working knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018
