Job Description A leading international Web 3 Accelerator company is looking for an associate level lawyer to work as a fully engaged member of the firms Legal Team. The CompanyOur client is the worlds leading Open Metaverse accelerator program, and was one of the first VC firms dedicated to investing in the emerging crypto ecosystem. Their portfolio includes notable projects across DeFi and blockchain infrastructure with a focuson emergent Open Metaverse use cases. The RoleOur client is looking for an associate level lawyer to join their 5-strong UK-based legal team. The role will involve the management of contracts with various accelerator programmes and suppliers. It will also involve advising the business on the varuious regulationsthat affect accelerator programmes and the crypto space. The Responsibilities
  • Supporting the contract management process for the firms various accelerator programmes, partnerships and service providers;
  • Supporting the firms various accelerator programmes from a legal and regulatory perspective;
  • Helping to prepare and maintain the firms internal contract template database;
  • Monitoring relevant legal and regulatory changes in the emerging crypto space;
  • Ensuring relevant legal and regulatory developments are reflected in the firms practices and processes;
  • Assisting with corporate and regulatory filings and applications (where relevant);
  • Supporting internal corporate governance and compliance, including maintaining board minutes, and records of resolutions and decisions.
Experience & Background
  • 3+ years PQE;
  • Experience in corporate or commercial law preferably at a top law firm;
  • High level of attention to detail and great project management skills;
  • Great contract drafting skills;
  • Clear communication skills;
  • Fast and independent learner;
  • A true team player;
  • Working knowledge of or strong interest in developing an expertise in blockchains and decentralised technology;
  • Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework of investments and cryptocurrencies.
