Contract type: Fixed term 9-12 monthsGifts in Wills contribute a third of RNIBs total annual income and half of all voluntary income. Legacy gifts are therefore critical to RNIBs ability to fund its work and achieve its mission.After a period of extensivestructural and cultural change across the organisation, there are new opportunities to reach our supporters and customers, increasing the number of legacy supporters in our pipeline and increasing the number of gifts in wills to RNIB. This will be enhancedby our new strategy, legacy proposition and integrated brand campaign. We are looking for a confident communicator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills to join our collaborative, highly experienced and ambitious Legacy Marketing team at avery important stage in our journey. You will be responsible for effectively implementing and delivering a programme of legacy marketing activity to RNIB supporters and customers.You will manage the fulfilment of all our campaigns, working closely with ourfulfilment partners to ensure a consistently high level of supporter care and stewardship.You will have experience of managing direct marketing to individuals, preferably in the not for profit sector, across a range of channels and demonstrate a strong understandingof digital as part of this mix.You will work collaboratively with teams and colleagues across the organisation, with a focus on Fundraising and Marketing and use your influencing skills to manage a variety of agencies and suppliers - including marketing creative,print and fulfilment.Your awareness of the external fundraising environment and a good understanding of the principles, methods and practices of legacy fundraising and data governance will ensure we maintain our high standards of practice.This is a busy andvaried role, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities is essential.Youll welcome the opportunity to work within a supportive team, building influential relationships at all levels both internally and externally to help increaseour pool of legacy supporters and secure future income to meet the growing need for our services.
