Based at West Durrington Campus, Worthing18.5 hours per week, 0.5FTEOur BA (Hons) Textile Design course is a creative and broad based programme with a focus on printed textiles applied to a variety of outcomes. We are looking for a leader to steer thecourse into the future, responding to the issues of the evolving field of textiles.We are seeking to appoint an experienced Textiles Lecturer to deliver an exceptional student experience through the delivery of outstanding teaching, learning and assessmentleading to positive achievement outcomes and progression on to higher levels of study, employment, or apprenticeships. Also to undertake responsibilities for assisting in the Textile Design course management, being responsible for the application of awarding/validatingbody regulations and procedures and upholding academic standardsYou will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the student journey, including student recruitment, tutorial and pastoral support, course induction, curriculum planning, teaching, learningand assessment, feedback to students, monitoring of student progress, management of student records, student achievement, and all associated course and quality related administration.You will require an academic qualification at Level 6, or professional qualificationequivalent in a relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualification. You also require experience of working within an Textile Design environment and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students withina possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential.Interviews will be held on 30th July 2021
