Our client in London is looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer for their client in London Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in OT London based - East London Salary £40k-£53k DOE Start ASAP Ideally our client requires someone with experience of higher education teaching in Occupational Therapy in the UK including course or module leadership and course/module development but if you have had some teaching experience and were willing to undertake a teaching qualification while working with our client you may be considered. JOB PURPOSE: *To develop an undergraduate course in Occupational Therapy;*To develop the apprenticeship in Occupational Therapy;*To support and facilitate the teaching of Occupational Therapy on the apprenticeship and on the undergraduate Course;*To develop and help manage the placement structure for Occupational Therapy students.MAIN DUTIES: *To lead on a course in Occupational Therapy;*To teach on a variety of modules in the Allied and Public Health department on both apprenticeship, undergraduate and post-graduate Courses;*To develop the placements of Occupational Therapy students and to help manage the placement structure;*To undertake research and participate in knowledge exchange;*To act as academic adviser to students;*To contribute to activities aimed at enhancing student experience;*To carry out or otherwise contribute to, the administration and management of courses in the Allied and Public Health department;*To attend assessment boards as necessary;*To contribute to course development and enhancement within the Allied and Public Health department;*To liaise with local feeder schools and colleges, NHS, employers and other organisations as appropriate;*To contribute to student recruitment activities as required including open days and later summer recruitment as required;*To undertake other such duties as may be assigned by the Dean or designated nominee;*To work within and actively promote the Universitys Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy.
