An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join the team at Capel in delivering shoemaking courses. The successful candidate will have a relevant qualification and experience in shoemaking, demonstrating knowledge of the design process through to the finished product. Experience in the shoemaking and leathercraft industry is essential and a network of contacts that can support the learners and the course is desirable. The motivation to look forward, research, develop and implement new concepts and ideas in this specialist area is key to future credibility and student success.The ideal candidate will be have a passion for teaching and for sharing their knowledge and experience with the next generation. They will be supportive of all students and believe in the colleges core values in nurturing a positive learning environment with equal opportunity and diversity at its core. Good administrative skills will be required to underpin the more creative aspects of teaching and learning.
