If this is relevant for you, just let your recruiter knowwhen you make your applicationYour roleSupporting the Learning and Development Leader for Audit and Assurance you will lead, influence, collaboratively design and deliver strategic and impactful learning and development solutions for the Assurance business unit.Assurance is an important part of our Audit Transformation agenda and a high priority for the UK Executive. Developing new services that we can take to our Audit and non-Audit clients, using the skills and experience of our people to open new revenue opportunitiesand broaden our scope of service beyond our core Audit offering. As the Assurance business unit grows, the development of new learning and development initiatives is paramount to achieving this goal.You will collaborate with key People and Purpose stakeholders across Audit and Assurance to establish and deliver an Assurance curriculum for each of the service offerings within the business unit. As the team grows there will be an expectation that youwill manage the day to day running of the Assurance Learning teamResponsibilities

  • Building trusted advisor relationships with business stakeholders across Assurance and A&A more widely.
  • Understanding and driving implementation of the A&A learning strategy aligned to the wider A&A strategy
  • Lead the planning and participation of an annual learning needs analysis across Assurance, to develop an understanding of the current and future learning needs (including on-going projects, issues, business drivers, etc.), enabling greater clarity aroundkey issues and the development of effective L&D solutions.
  • Lead the development of Assurance learning solutions, as identified through the process above and through ad-hoc identification.
  • Providing an Assurance focused input into the existing Early Careers Development Programme (ECDP) and incorporating Assurance considerations as part of the A&A Early Experience Induction.
  • Deployment of the 2022 Experienced Hire Induction (EHI)
  • Inputting into the annual A&A L&D budget process.
  • Bringing an expert view of learning to Assurance and participating in Design & Delivery team projects to ensure business solutions are innovative and practical and aligned to business objectives.
  • Planning and execution of the annual Assurance learning event
  • Identify and manage/co-ordinate content developers (internal or external) and ensure end product is fit for purpose and delivered within budget and timeframes.
  • Working with the UK A&A L&D Leader to build and establish strong working relationship with Global Audit and Assurance Learning, in relation to Assurance offerings.
  • Managing and supporting the development of any less senior members added to the Assurance Learning team
Your professional experience
  • Demonstrable experience of working in or with a professional services firm, in a learning role
  • A strong base line of core Learning competence and demonstrable experience in an advisor or Business Partner capacity.
  • Adept at communicating, influencing, coaching, educating, challenging and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Viewed as an expert in your own discipline.
  • Ability to align Assurance learning workstreams with A&A initiatives and ability to gain confidence and respect of business stakeholders.
  • A strong relationship builder with a proven ability to communicate, influence, consult and advise at an appropriate level.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to use and interpret appropriate metrics and insights
  • Able to manage concurrent activities ensuring appropriate risk management.
  • Experience or exposure to project management principles and strong organisational skills.
  • Event management experience beneficial
