L&D ConsultantReports to: L&D Business Partner Location: The role is home basedWorking pattern: 6 month contract, 35 hoursSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a.Application method: CV & screening questions required.Application Deadline: 25th AprilWe are looking for an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) professional with experience designing a range of learning solutions to drive employee progress at CRUK.Why we need youAt CRUK we are passionate about developing our amazing people. We now have an exciting opportunity for an L&D Consultant to drive the design and delivery of some key projects to build capabilities of our people to deliver our corporate plan. In this role you will develop strong stakeholder relationships, identify learning, development and training needs and propose recommended learning solutions to meet the desired learning outcomes. Working with your stakeholders to gain commitment to the learning solutions designed, you will deliver the agreed interventions and evaluate the effectiveness.What will I be doing Make an impact every day by Establishing the key learning, development and training needs common to staff across the organisation and develop learning interventions to meet those needs. Designing, delivering and evaluating a number of core L&D activities including People Manager development, intermediate leadership development, core business skills, induction and mandatory learning - much of this through digital learning solutions through Fuse, our social learning platform. Working with L&D business partners to gather insights and trends on org-wide L&D needs. Promoting a positive culture of learning across the organisation through championing learning, development and performance improvement across CRUK. Working collaboratively across the Learning and Development team to share expertise and provide relevant support as needed Ensuring equality and diversity is celebrated and considered as part of all decisions takenWhat skills are you looking forYoull be able to bring to the role: Significant experience of scoping and delivering organisation-wide initiatives, from brief, to design, to embedding and evaluation with minimum supervision. Proven experience of designing and delivering Manager and Leadership development programmes - this will be a key project youll be developing from concept through to delivery. Relevant experience of working in partnership with internal customers to assess needs, influence and deliver appropriate solutions Experience of using digital learning platforms as there will be an expectation for this role to design and deliver digital content. Relevant experience of analysing issues, enabling you to identify specific learning outcomes and solutions to address business problems.
