Learning and Development Manager - HR Department - City Law Firm, London / Hybrid Working - up to £62k + great benefits

Our client, a leading City Law Firm, is currently looking for a Learning and Development Manager, ideally with a relevant degree or qualifications (i.e. CIPD) and a legal or professional services background, to join their HR department.Taking a leading role in a busy talent and development team, the Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for delivering on a broad range of talent priorities, focussing on firm wide learning and development provision and on supporting individualteams to structure their own development offerings.The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, passionate and commercially minded individual who is keen to immerse themselves in a fast-paced environment.Whats on offer This is a great opportunity to join a progressive, friendly and hardworking team who are client focused and enjoy the challenges of working for a successful City law firm. Standard working hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm and hybrid working is offered.Key responsibilities as the Learning and Development Manager will include:
  • Creating and delivering the firms central L&D offering for all those below leadership level (c360 people)
  • Partnering with key stakeholders in legal practice areas and business support teams
  • Developing and delivering a core people skills offering
  • Maintaining, curating and developing the offering of online technical and non-technical content (webinars, e-learning etc.)
  • Promoting the training, learning and development offering through creative and impactful communications
  • Taking ownership of the onboarding programme and the evaluation of on and off boarding
  • Developing competency frameworks and career development pathways
  • And more!
What were looking for:
  • Previous experience in a learning and development or talent management role, ideally in the legal or professional services environment
  • Relevant degree or qualification (i.e. CIPD, L&D, organisational psychology etc.)
  • Significant experience designing, delivering and evaluating development activities
  • Proven track record of leading on and delivering projects in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with, or desire to learn, e-learning authoring tools (Rise 360 and/or Storyline 360)
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Strong communication skills and excellent relationship management skills with proven ability to gain credibility at all levels
