Job Description

We are looking to recruit an experienced Learning and Development Lead to join our team.We are a Creative Communications and Training Consultancy supporting our clients who are primarily in the Automotive Sector.Our team work remotely, Monday to Friday from home, with purpose led meetings held in London as and when required.The salary on offer is very much dependant on experience, so please be sure to note on your application what youre looking for.We are a small team, and were looking for an individual with a specialist background in learning and development who can lead a team but who also has relevant hands-on experience in development, instructional design and instructor led training.Youll need a passion for all things L&D and to be across all recent industry developments and offerings so you can both propose new solutions internally but also to our clients.Youll be working collaboratively with our team to advise clients on curriculum development, strategic training plans and innovative solutions, always taking into account client specific development, deployment or delivery considerations.As a company were evolving, and we look to our people to lead the way! We will be asking you to identify efficiencies, new ways of doing things and industry leading solutions.This is a new position, and a great opportunity for you to make a mark on the role and the work we do.Some of the key things were looking for:

  • Experience of working in Consultancy/Professional Services.
  • Significant experience designing, delivering, and evaluating development activities.
  • Experience of working in a global organisation.
  • A proven track record in project and people management in a learning and development capacity.
  • Solid working knowledge of a range of psychometrics and techniques for assessment/development.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Works flexibly within a team, willingly supporting other team members.
  • People management experience - managing/motivating/mentoring/developing.
  • Design, delivery/facilitation, ROI analysis and coaching skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including formal and informal presentation.
  • Ability to build internal and client relationships and demonstrate a client-focused approach.
  • Ideally a Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject, for example organisational development, learning and development, organisational psychology.
  • Reliably and consistently delivers on agreed objectives and commitments and oversees delivery of projects from a learning and development perspective.
  • Prioritises and plans, taking account of changing business needs and priorities.
  • High quality standards and attention to detail.
Skills/Experience:
  • IT literate with strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office software and Adobe design software.
  • Advanced knowledge of eLearning Development tools, ideally Adobe and/or Articulate.
  • Demonstrable and practical Instructional Design experience.
  • Demonstrable and practical Training Delivery experience.
  • Demonstrable and practical eLearning Development experience.
  • Accreditation to use psychometric tools such as HPI/HDS, MBTI, DISC or a coaching qualification.
  • Exceptional written and spoken English.
  • 2nd language, would be beneficial.
  • Top-class problem-solving skills with the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Organised and with a good attention to detail.
  • Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks within a high-pressured environment, including working to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in stakeholder management.
  • Confident and able to work on own initiative and without supervision or as part of a team.
