GBR Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading Data / Tech Service Solutions Consultancy client, recruiting for an experienced Lead Test Analyst / Test Analyst Manager / Test Manager to join their SMT heading up the product testing teams (Extract/Transform/Load testers), assuming ownership of the quality assurance and testing (QAT) strategy for all the companies dataproducts, both in the ongoing delivery of existing products and development of new products.Our key client Est. in 2005 offers real tangible solutions to large blue-chip organisations across Banking, Finance, Telecoms, Water, Utilities & Housing Management industry sectors.Over the last decade theyve evolved as a specialist data solutions provider for Ireland, Europe, and the Far East.Their specialist data solutions have been developed as part of their software range which comprises of Credit Risks, Revenue Assurance, Vales Based Management, Data Management (DMSA), Customer Data Solutions.The Lead Test Analyst will supervise the creation of Test Cases/Scripts/Test Execution plus report defects, managing the defect life-cycle plus reporting status and issues to the wider management teams.Duties:

• Creation and management of a test analyst team
• Setting / maintaining standards to ensure effectiveness of all the offered data products
• Establishment of a test strategy for projects or software changes
• Record test plans for different test phases (integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing)
• Liaising with stakeholders to conduct analysis required for planning and evaluating testing
• Liaising with the development team to ensure all testing standards are being met
• Supervise creation test conditions, test cases and scripts as defined by the solution/product specifications
• Setting up and preparing Test environment activities/tasks
• Produce a test execution schedule based on the test cases and scripts
• Test execution and record test case results. Test execution may be manual or automated Note: testing using recognised methodologies including Waterfall/V Model and RAD approaches
• Produce a test progress report, analyse the results and communicate to key stakeholders
• Identify and report any issues and risks to key stakeholders
• Complete test tasks and escalate issues/risks as appropriate
• Produce/communicate summaries of test results, defects, and suitability of software for release

Knowledge & Skills:

• ISEB/ISTQB Certified Professional Test Consultant working at Lead Test Analyst or Test Manager level
• Proven background working as a Test Manager and managing a test team
• Delivered test activities for work packages; test planning, preparation, execution, test defect management
• Test life cycle skilled, in performing systems integration, UAT, SIT, Data Migration and regression testing
• Experience of testing both applications and data products
• Ability to work in a high-pressured, dynamic environment
• Excellent communicator, able to interface with developers and the project team as well
• Proven experience in Software Testing/Quality Assurance using testing management tools
• Broad experience testing to ISTQB standards and risk-based testing
• Experience with SQL, Excel and Python would be ideal as they use this (not essential but beneficial)

This role is working 50% from home & 50% from the central London office as the clients offers hybrid working.Eventually this is likely to be more 70% remote / field based & 30% London office.Great company, amazing products, fantastic innovative employees, plus a modern vibrant environment.Interviews to take place immediately, with an ASAP start!
